FAQ: What is the Australian Series of Beer Pong?

What if i don't drink alcohol?

That's great! Because we only use water in ASOBP played in licensed premises. In fact the idea behind beer pong is not to get drunk, but to work as a social game among friends and patrons. Beer Pong can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. Just remember though, when playing in an ASOBP approved competition, you have to be 18 and obey all local laws. When playing ASOBP tournaments you cannot have any ALCOHOL in any of the game cups used for game play. You can simply place the "hit cups" to the side and continue playing. If you are drinking your own drink on the side, it can have no correlation to the outcome of a ball either going into, or missing a cup. Refer to our T&C's for more info.

Do i need to practice before competing?

If you are super keen to learn before coming out to play in a competition there are a few options. Turn up early before a tournament and play at one of the many practice tables.
